The British Sovereign Base Areas (SBA) across the Republic have been ordered into a total evacuation on Monday afternoon following reports of an imminent “live air threat” and claims by Iranian state media that ballistic missiles have been launched against Cyprus.

At 12:48 pm, the SBA Administration expanded its emergency protocols to include the Dhekelia Base, ordering all personnel and civilian staff to vacate the premises immediately.

This followed the scramble of British fighter jets at 12:51 pm after military intelligence identified an active threat in the air, though the precise location of the incoming target remains unconfirmed.
